IBL Mourns The Loss Of Andy Herrington

The Brantford Red Sox join the Intercounty Baseball League and its member clubs in mourning the passing of Andy Herrington, IBL Umpire-in-Chief.

"The IBL is terribly saddened by the sudden passing of Andy" said IBL Commissioner John Kastner. "We send Andy's family and friends our sincere condolences."

Andy served as the IBL's Umpire-in-Chief for the last four seasons making great strides towards professionalism and development.

Andy, from Whitby, is survived by wife Cara, daughter Morgan and son, Sam.

There will be a celebration of the life of Andy Herrington on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at the DeStefano Funeral Home in Oshawa. Tributes to Andy will take place at 3:30 p.m.
