Andris Rizquez Named Player Of The Week

The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) announced its Players of the Week for the week of May 5-12.  Brantford’s Andris Rizquez was named Hitter of the Week after going 3-for-6 in our season-opening win in Toronto on May 5. Rizquez fell just a triple short of hitting for the cycle, while scoring twice and adding a stolen base and an RBI.

The Brantford Red Sox are next in action Friday night when we visit the London Majors, game time 7:35 pm.  We follow that with our 2019 Home Opener hosting the Guelph Royals, Sunday May 19 at 2 pm.
