Brantford Red Sox Sign Gregor Farquharson

BRANTFORD - The Brantford Red Sox have signed Gregor Farquharson for the upcoming Intercounty Baseball League season.

Farquharson is a 6'2" right handed pitcher from Saltcoats, Saskatchewan. He is currently in his senior year at Mayville State University, posting a career 6.65 ERA for the MSU Comets with 19 starts and 112.1 innings pitched over 3 seasons. In May 2023 Farquharson was named to the Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes list, and he was also named to the Mayville State University Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the fall semester of 2023.

Farquharson has also appeared for the Swift Current 57's in the Western Canadian Baseball League, appearing in 19 games in the 2022 season and logging 39.1 innings pitched. In 2017 he won a gold medal with Team Saskatchewan in the Canada Summer Games.
