Brantford Red Sox Re-Sign Mike Deluca

BRANTFORD, ON - The Brantford Red Sox, members of the Intercounty Baseball League, are proud to announce that Mike Deluca has bee re-signed for the upcoming season.

Last year in his rookie IBL season with Brantford, Mike batted for a .281 average with 27 hits over 109 plate appearances in 27 games played. He was also a consistent and valuable defender in the outfield, with 49 putouts and 4 assists while only being charged with 1 error. 

Mike was also a standout member of the 2021 OUA Champion University of Toronto Varsity Blues, and was named an OUA all-star and a 2x Varsity Blues Athlete of the Week. In 2017 Michael was named the University of Toronto rookie of the year across all sports, OUA rookie of the year, and was also an first team all-star. He was named a OUA first team all star in again in 2019.
