Brantford Red Sox Re-Sign Relief Pitcher Kyle Nash

BRANTFORD, ON — The Brantford Red Sox, proud members of the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL), are excited to announce the return of relief pitcher Kyle Nash (Ancaster, ON) for the 2025 season.

Nash will be entering his third IBL season after a four-year collegiate career at D’Youville University, where he posted a 3-3 record with one save across 39.2 innings pitched. In 2024, he recorded a 1-0 record with a 3.48 ERA over 12 appearances, not allowing a run in nine of those outings.

“Kyle has made steady gains in his IBL career,” said Red Sox General Manager Jeff Lounsbury. “He understands his role and now has the experience to pitch in any situation.”

“I’m excited to be returning to Brantford for my third season and to be part of this new era under fresh ownership and leadership,” said Nash. “I’m ready to give everything I’ve got on the mound and help bring success back to Brantford.”

Founded in 1911, the Brantford Red Sox have captured 15 Intercounty Baseball League titles. Admission to all home games during the 2025 season is free.
