Brantford Red Sox Re-Sign Liam Sutherland

BRANTFORD, ON - The Brantford Red Sox, members of the Intercounty Baseball League, are proud to announce that Liam Sutherland has been re-signed for the 2022 season.

Last year in a standout IBL rookie season with the Red Sox, Liam posted a .271 batting average and a .396 slugging percentage. He totalled 26 hits, 20 RBI, and 3 home runs over 115 plate appearances in 28 games played. 

Liam currently attends the University of Waterloo studying Recreation and Sports Business. Last season he slashed .375/.448/.708 for the Warriors and was named Athlete of the Week in October. A Sports Management graduate of Humber College, Liam hit for a career .389 average/.477 on base percentage/.502 slugging percentage over 4 seasons with the Humber Hawks, winning 2 OCAA Championships.
