Brantford Red Sox Sign Colton Fountain

The Brantford Red Sox, members of the Intercounty Baseball League, are proud to announce the signing of Colton Fountain for the upcoming season.

Colton is a 22 year old catcher/infielder and a native of Stratford, Ontario. He is entering his senior year at Cleary University in Michigan. Colton finished his junior year with the Cleary Cougars hitting .250/.400/.250/.650 with three RBI in 20 at bats. Behind the plate, he threw out six of 13 baserunners trying to steal. He was also named to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference All-Academic Team. Colton is teammates with Jesse Fishbaum on the Cleary Cougars.
