Brantford Field Manager Matt McGovern notes "We are excited to welcome Kyle to the Brantford Red Sox. Kyle comes to us from the respected Ontario Blue Jays development program, and I am certain he will have a great attitude on and off the field. I have only heard good things about Kyle, and he will be an important addition to our club."
McGovern adds "As an organization we are trying to build a solid foundation and talented core group of players to represent us for years to come, and we are fortunate to have Kyle be part of that process. Our goal is to help our players with their development and Kyle is a perfect example of this. Throwing against the hitters in the IBL and the talent level it represents will only make Kyle a better pitcher, and we hope he can take that confidence with him when he returns back to school. We are very happy to have him be a part of this summer's roster!"
Kyle notes "This summer is important for my development on the mound, and I'm really looking forward to building on the winning tradition in Brantford and competing for a championship!"
On behalf of the Red Sox organization and its fans, welcome to Brantford Kyle!
