Brantford Signs Jaret Lupton

BRANTFORD, ON - The Brantford Red Sox are proud to announce that Jaret Lupon has been signed for the 2023 Intercounty Baseball League season.

Jaret is a 22 year old infielder from Paris, Ontario. He'll be familiar to Brantford baseball fans, having played in 10 games last year with the Senior Sox as a Junior call-up. Jaret also won the 2022 OBA 22U A Provincial Championship with the Jr. Red Sox. A standout player for the Jr. Sox both defensively and at the plate, Jaret posted a .309 batting average with 29 hits and 17 stolen bases  in 28 games played/109 plate appearances.

Jaret is also currently studying as an Electrical Apprentice at George Brown College. He batted .339 in 16 games for the Huskies last season with 6 stolen bases, and was named Men's Baseball MVP for 2022.
