Erika Polidori To Throw Out First Pitch

BRANTFORD - Olympian and Brantford's own Erika Polidori will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before the Brantford Red Sox's game vs. the London Majors this Sunday August 20. 

Erika recently competed with Team Canada in the 2023 WBSC Women's Softball World Cup in Italy and the Canada Cup in Surrey, BC. She also won a bronze medal with Team Canada at the 2020 Olympics, Canada's first ever Olympic medal in softball. Erika will also be representing Canada at the upcoming Pan American Games in Santiago this fall. 

Sunday's game is a 2 pm first pitch at Arnold Anderson Stadium. The Brantford Red Sox are also holding a food drive at Sunday's game for the Brantford Food Bank, by donating a non-perishable item fans will be entered into a draw to win a pair of playoff tickets.
