After the Sox went 3 up 3 down in the top half of the 3rd, the Baycats' bats got back to work. By the end of inning Barrie had driven Mueses' pitch count up over 100 and scored another pair.  Baycats led 7-0 after 3 innings.

Matt McGovern came on in relief in the 4th for the Sox, and pitched Brantford's first 3 up 3 down scoreless inning.  Brantford managed to break up the perfect game with a Chris Iltshishin walk in the 5th, but left him stranded on first. Baycats tacked on another run in the bottom of the inning to lead 8-0 after 5 innings.

Brantford finally notched their first hit of the evening in the 8th inning with an Austin Wilkie single to centre field. Jacob Reid followed that up with his own single to centre field, but the pair were left stranded.  Baycats added on another pair in the bottom of the inning to lead 10-0 after 8 innings.

Luis Perez and Jesse Fishbaum led off the 9th inning with a pair of singles but the Sox were unable to convert, making it a 10-0 final score.
