AJ Karosas brings collegiate experience and plenty of infield versatility to the Brantford Red Sox.

The Mississauga, Ontario native continued his baseball career at the University of Charleston in West Virginia, where he put together two productive seasons at the NCAA level. Karosas appeared in 88 games between 2023 and 2024, finishing his Charleston career with a .305 batting average, .429 on-base percentage and .958 OPS.

His strongest season came in 2024, when he hit .333 with 37 hits, 24 runs, four home runs and 31 RBIs while also stealing 12 bases. His ability to reach base consistently was another strength, as he posted a .441 on-base percentage that season.
