Lucas Lefebvre brings collegiate experience, versatility, and a team-first approach to the Brantford Red Sox infield.

Lefebvre continued his baseball career at Barstow Community College in California before moving on to Missouri Baptist University, where he spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons competing at the NAIA level.

He put together an impressive 2024 campaign at Missouri Baptist, batting .356 with 36 hits, six doubles, 24 RBIs and a .846 OPS in 33 games. Over his two seasons with the Spartans, Lefebvre appeared in 81 games and drove in 60 runs.

Lefebvre also gained summer collegiate experience with the Fort McMurray Giants of the Western Canadian Baseball League, appearing for the club during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

That experience has followed him to Brantford, where his ability to play around the infield has given the Red Sox another versatile option throughout the 2026 season.

Lefebvre has embraced his role with the Red Sox throughout the summer, providing Brantford with depth and flexibility whenever his name is called.

Through 20 appearances, he has collected eight hits, including two doubles, while scoring four times and driving in two runs. He has also shown his ability to create opportunities on the basepaths, successfully stealing three bases this season.

His speed was on display during Brantford's recent doubleheader against the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers. In Game 1, Lefebvre doubled before coming around to score as part of the Red Sox comeback and later reached base again and stole second before scoring an important insurance run.

His contributions helped Brantford earn the first of two victories on a historic afternoon that saw the Red Sox become the first CBL team to sweep a doubleheader.

Collegiate Experience in Brantford

Before joining the Red Sox, Lefebvre demonstrated his ability to produce offensively throughout his collegiate career.

Across two seasons at Missouri Baptist, he hit .283 with 70 hits, 46 runs, nine doubles, six home runs and 60 RBIs. That experience competing at the collegiate level has provided him with a strong foundation as he continues his baseball career in Brantford.

His background at both second and third base also gives the Red Sox options defensively, an important asset over the course of a long summer season.
