Brantford Red Sox Re-Sign Adam Jafine

BRANTFORD, ON - The Brantford Red Sox, members of the Intercounty Baseball League, are proud to announce that Adam Jafine has been re-signed for the 2022 season.

Adam returns to Brantford after an outstanding 2021 rookie season.  He posted a 2.82 ERA over 54.1 total innings pitched in 9 regular and postseason appearances, striking out 66. He excelled for the Sox in the postseason, throwing a complete game 4 hitter vs. the Kitchener Panthers, and overall striking out 27 batters in 18 innings pitched with a 1.00 ERA. Adam was also named an IBL 2nd Team All Star for his efforts in 2021. 

Adam previously played for Team Ontario (2011 National Champions), and the Canadian Junior National Team.  He threw a no-hitter against the Ottawa Canadians 18U team on May 12, 2013.   Adam played college ball at Northern Kentucky University (NCAA Division I), and the University of Charleston (NCAA Division II).  He was named MEC pitcher of the week in February 2017.
