Red Sox Sign Yunior Juan Yambatis

BRANTFORD, ON - The Brantford Red Sox, members of the Intercounty Baseball League, are proud to announce the signing of Yunior Juan Yambatis for the 2022 season.

A native of the Dominican Republic, the Milwaukee Brewers signed Yunior to a minor league contract in 2016 and assigned him to their Dominican Summer League team.

Yunior previously appeared in the IBL with the Guelph Royals in 2018 and 2019. Over 2 seasons with the Royals he posted a 4.58 ERA over 28 games (22 starts), 171 innings pitched, striking out 138. Yunior was named IBL Player of the week in July 2018.
