Red Sox Drop Rematch To Majors
The Brantford Red Sox wrapped up a 4-game homestand on Wednesday night against the London Majors. in a rematch of their Saturday afternoon game. Brantford would unfortunately suffer a similar fate at the hands of the hard-hitting Majors, dropping this one 16-6.
Jason Pineda hit his first IBL home run for the Red Sox, one of only 4 Brantford hits on the evening. Nik Cardinal was impressive in his Red Sox debut, pitching 2.1 innings of scoreless relief while striking out 3.
Brantford is back in action Thursday night, they visit Jack Couch Park in Kitchener to take on the Panthers at 7:30 pm. The Red Sox then return home on Friday to take on the Barrie Baycats, game time is 8 pm at Arnold Anderson Stadium. Advance tickets are available at brantfordredsox.com/tickets
