Red Sox Wrap Regular Season At Home

BRANTFORD - The Brantford Red Sox, still not mathematically eliminated from postseason contention, wrap their 2024 IBL regular season with a pair of home games:

• Friday August 16 vs. Barrie Baycats, 8 pm  RAINED OUT Makeup game info TBA
• Sunday August 18 vs. Guelph Royals, 2 pm

The 9th place Red Sox (11-29) currently sit 2 games behind the 8th place Kitchener Panthers (13-27). If Brantford is somehow able to win their remaining games, and Kitchener loses both of their games, the two teams would finish with identical 13-29 records. However, the Red Sox hold the tiebreaker (courtesy of their 3-2 season series record vs. the Panthers) and would clinch the 8th and final playoff spot in this scenario.
