Brantford Red Sox Sign Rem Benninger

The Brantford Red Sox, members of the Intercounty Baseball League, are proud to announce the signing of Rem Benninger for the upcoming 2021 season.

Benninger is a 22 year old right handed pitcher from Waterford, Ontario. He previously played for the Ontario Nokona Expos elite program, the Port Dover Clippers juniors, and the Simcoe Giants seniors.  Rem also coached the Simcoe Giants bantam rep baseball team.

"Rem is a great kid", says Brantford Field Manager Matt McGovern. "I have known him for a few years, and as our organization continues to develop and grow Rem's attitude and dedication towards baseball is exactly what we are looking for. He is going to be an important addition to our bullpen, his ability to pound the strike zone and keep hitters off balance will play well in this league. Rem has the tools to have a very successful summer!"
