Brantford Red Sox at London Majors

The Brantford Red Sox's first visit to London this year resulted in a 12 inning, 5 hour slugfest with the Majors narrowly edging the Sox 12-11.  Brantford hoped that a return to London might help put a spark back into the team's bats, which have been languishing as of late. The end result tonight was another close game,  but this time a pitching duel. Brantford's bats did not heat up unfortunately though, and they dropped a 2-0 decision to the host London Majors. 

Edison Frias pitched 7 innings for Brantford, allowing just 3 hits and 1 unearned run, striking out 5.  Chris Iltshishin, Nick Zarzycki, and Jacob Reid each contributed a hit for the Sox.
