She Sure Knows The Score

Sue Harris is putting down her pen.

She is retiring after 25 years as the official scorer for the Intercounty Baseball League’s Brantford Red Sox.

Harris, who will turn 80 in December, said she is “really sad” to retire.

“I’m really going to miss this but I have a hard time climbing the stairs and sitting in the booth, getting in and out of the booth,” she said.

“I don’t want to leave them in the lurch in the spring if I can’t do it.”
