Busy Week Ahead For Brantford

Two weeks remain in the 2021 Intercounty Baseball League regular season. The Brantford Red Sox currently sit in seventh place with eight games remaining. The Red Sox have helped out their cause with two straight wins, and with only five wins currently separating second and seventh place there is still room to move up in the standings. Brantford will need to keep firing on all cylinders though, and with four more games in the next five days the Sox have a daunting task ahead:

• Monday August 23 at Hamilton Cardinals, 7:35 pm at Bernie Arbour Stadium
• Wednesday August 25 vs. Welland Jackfish, 8 pm at Arnold Anderson Stadium
• Thursday August 26 at Welland Jackfish, 7:30 pm at Welland Stadium
• Friday August 27 vs. Hamilton Cardinals, 8 pm at Arnold Anderson Stadium

On Friday we welcome Brantford Olympian Erika Polidori to Arnold Anderson Stadium to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before we take on the Cardinals. It is also Brantford Minor Softball Association night at the ballpark - BMSA players wearing their jersey get in for free, while all family members enjoy half-priced admission.

Please note: There are only 3 Brantford Red Sox home games remaining in the regular season, make sure you use up any unredeemed tickets from previous games before the playoffs!
